Now that you know I should be dead, you’ll be counting your blessings every week when you get to hear my angelic voice singing praises to the big guy upstairs. God that it is. It’s funny how certain events in life can really change your perspective. I know crashing my motorcycle sure did it for me. Now I want to share what I learned with you.
It’s fascinating how a single incident like a motorcycle crash can bring such clarity to life. Clarity on how to take hold of this moment and cherish it forever. In the past I simply did too many things at one time and didn’t enjoy many of them because by the time I was experiencing one moment, I was already planning for the next and didn’t really take hold of the present moment I was in.
Starting a creative business can seem overwhelming and intimidating. And it can be. But I’m here to give you practical insight and encourage you to take one step at a time. Before you know it, you’ll be running a creative business. You’ll be your own boss and be able to do things on your own terms.
You need a solid steady flow of inspiration. Something that will exert an animating, enlivening or exalting influence into what you are doing or what you need to do. Something that will cause you to take inspired action. Whatever inspires you the most is what will help you take inspired action to move you forward in your business.
Branding your business runs deep and wide. Everything from your physical location, to your online presence, to how you dress and talk has the power to impact your clients or turn them away. I have come to understand how every detail in branding creates confidence and trust.
Finding your vital vocation is what gives you a sense of purpose in life. Not only does it allow you to do what you love with the gifts and talents God has equipped you with, it also allows you to impact the world with your gifts and talents. Being able to hear God's calling takes time in prayer.
Is life good or kinda meh"? This is an indicator that you are missing something in your life. But what is it? Sometimes it's hard to put your finger on it. This is when it's time to dive deeper and challenge yourself to find out what's missing. If you don't take this step you will be partially unfulfilled.
The answer that solidifies, validates and affirms our identity. The fact that we are children of God. That He created us with very unique, specific gifts and talents and placed them carefully deep inside of us so that we can make an impact in the world.
Oh my goodness! That makes a lot of sense doesn’t it. I know most of the time I over complicate things when I really just need to simplify them. Take each day, each hour and each moment one step at a time.
Well don’t we all really need an individual mission statement to guide our thoughts, decisions and actions? I know I do and that’s why it took me years to solidify what was important enough to me, from the depth of my soul, to write down what I stand for. This is my mission.
Identifying your perfect profession is a key factor to living a long meaningful life. It is something to keep pursuing and searching for and to never give up. You may not have hit the mark the first time and that’s okay. Sometimes we need more time, more experiences, more failures in order to become clear on what we are really good at.
My oh my…I don’t know where your passion comes from, but this gets my fuel flowing every single time!

Uff Da, as we like to say in Minnesota….meaning (“That was relieving”). To be the person God created me to be is who I am. As Vincent Van Gogh said…If you hear a voice within you say “you cannot paint,” then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced.
Ooof, another great reminder of checking ourselves with who God created us to be right?

Well I’ve learned my greatest creative potential is often stricken by Mental Addiction. As an artist, creative and entrepreneur, I stay stuck in life’s circumstances instead of flourishing right now. If I used all my time to create beautiful works of art, I would be mentally well.
I wake up most mornings in a twit. It means taunted or sarcastically scorned or mocked. So my “TWIT” stems from physically holding on so tight, like a death grip, when you reach the summit on a rollercoaster with no choice but to plunge into the depths of the unknown-mock 100.
Most people don't understand their net worth is in direct proportion to their self worth. That's right. It really doesn't have much to do with money, but is found inside ourselves. You are absolutely worthy to be all you were created to be.
